Manatee Diagnostic Center app for iPhone and iPad

Manatee Diagnostic Center’s goal is to be a leader by meeting and exceeding the needs of our medical and patient community by providing a valuable service.

This application strives to exceed the needs of our referring physicians by providing access to their patient reports anywhere and at any time. The report or reports will be available to the referring physician immediately after the radiologist has signed the report.

This application will give our referring physician notification in the form of a “badge” on the top right side of the Manatee Diagnostic Center logo on the iPhone or iPad device.

This application is set up notify the Referring Physician of two types of studies:

1. The Referring Physician will send a patient over for a routine study and our Radiologist will see an abnormal finding which needs to be reported. These findings are considered “Critical Findings”, which need to be reported to the referring physician immediately.

2. The Referring Physician has a patient who the Referring Physician expects to find an abnormality and orders the patient for an imaging procedure as a STAT or “statim” which means “Immediately”.

This badge will indicate the report or reports are available to view when our Radiologist found a Critical Finding or the Referring Physician ordered the imaging procedure STAT.

This was developed to assist the referring physician allowing them to provide a more timely and valuable service to the patient and the medical community as a whole, which can create better patient care.

Manatee Diagnostic Center offers the application to our referring physicians free of charge. Referring Physicians must have a valid account on our Referring Physician Portal to utilize this app.
